Is Facebook Becoming Pay-To-Play For Businesses?
Facebook: Pay To Play?
Once upon a time, there were three little girls…
Oops, sorry…having a Charlie’s Angels flashback there.
Once upon a time a business could create a page on Facebook and try to get a lot of people to like them and use their Facebook page as a way to communicate with and – let’s be honest – advertise to their customer base as well as potential new customers.
My, how times have changed.
You can, indeed, still create your Facebook business profile, but Facebook (and everyone else) is finding ways to monetize and is becoming increasingly more of a “pay to play” arena for businesses. Especially with the popularity of Facebook ads and the success businesses are having with them.
Our social media swami Kris Bradley joins us this week to give you tips on what you should be doing on Facebook and how you should approach the play if you decide to pay. Facebook ads can work very well for you as long as you’re approaching it smartly and strategically.
You’ll leave this week’s podcast with a better understanding of Facebook ads and how you can use them to augment the organic value of your business profile.
As always, we LOVE your questions! Get involved…this is YOUR podcast! Give your website development, design, SEO, content marketing and general Internet marketing questions to us on our Ask A Question page, email us at [email protected], or drop us a comment on Facebook or by olfactory telepathy. We will do our best to answer your question on a future podcast, as we did this week’s questions:) At your next visit to your favorite juke joint, tell the DJ to play the MIND Your Business podcast!
