We’ve all heard the term “virtual reality for years,” but augmented reality is a bit different.  By definition, augmented reality is “a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.  As a result, the technology functions by enhancing one’s current perception of reality.”

In marketing terms, augmented reality is a concept that could bring renewed relevance to print marketing through interactivity.   Mark looks at the pros and cons of this fascinating concept on this week’s show and comes back at you with a fresh blog post idea for this new year, as well!
